The
Bandwidth
Matrix

The Bandwidth Matrix (TBM) is a benchmark tool that calculates the required bandwidth for multiple workloads at different scenarios. With TBM you get an insight into the required bandwidth for your situation, determine the impact of design choices and compare.

The answer to how much bandwidth you need is often “It depends”. How much bandwidth is required depends on which applications are used, the configuration of the environment and the available bandwidth. With TBM an answer can be given on “It depends”

During the beta period the results for the Citrix ICA protocol (used in XenApp and XenDesktop) are available. In time we will expand the matrix with more parameters and remoting protocols.

About TBM

TBM is an initiative of PepperByte and Denamik. TBM is developed from a growing demand from organisations that want to have a reliable indication on how much bandwidth they need when using a remoting protocol, such a Citrix ICA and Microsoft RDP.
